Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of Age Safe® America, Dan Davenport is on a mission to make every home safer for aging adults. His personal experiences with aging parents opened his eyes to a broken system—homes that weren’t built for aging, families navigating it alone, and professionals without the tools or training to help. That firsthand perspective drives everything Age Safe does today.
Under Dan’s leadership, Age Safe® America has grown into the nation’s trusted authority on aging-in-place training and home safety certification, equipping professionals across 60+ disciplines with the skills to identify and resolve residential hazards before they become emergencies.
Dan brings deep experience scaling purpose-driven businesses. He co-founded RiseSmart, a technology-enabled services company that grew to serve enterprises in over 90 countries before being acquired by Randstad, a Global Fortune 500 company. As CEO of the post-acquisition division, he led the business to global recognition as a category leader in “Vision and Capability” by Everest Group.
Dan is also building Sprye, a complementary startup delivering practical, tech-enabled services that simplify caregiving and support aging in place. He serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Advisors for the Silicon Valley chapter of The Salvation Army, supporting efforts to serve seniors and vulnerable populations.
Co-Founder & Director of Education & Advocacy
Fritzi Gros-Daillon is an award-winning educator, speaker, and aging-in-place advocate with a career spanning over 30 years across environmental consulting, senior move management, and aging services.
Her professional journey began in the environmental space, where she led consulting efforts for real estate, government, and private clients. But it was through founding a senior move management company in New York that she found her life’s calling—helping families navigate safe and graceful transitions for aging loved ones.
In 2013, she founded Household Guardians, an aging-in-place consulting firm that has impacted hundreds of families and professionals.
At Age Safe® America, Fritzi spearheaded the development of the Senior Home Safety Specialist® certification, writing and shaping the curriculum that now educates professionals across the globe.
In 2019, she was honored as the NAHB Educator of the Year and continues to serve as a Master Instructor for the CAPS program, influencing the next generation of home safety and remodeling professionals. Prior to her recent move to northern California, Fritzi served on the boards for NAIPC San Diego, NARI San Diego and The Foundation for Senior Well-Being.
She is the author of “Grace and Grit: Insights to Real-Life Challenges of Aging for Adult Children and Their Parents”, a five-time award-winning book that has become a staple resource for family caregivers nationwide.
