HomesRenewed Coalition is rallying industry leaders and stakeholders to push for 2021 legislation that supports aging in place through home safety updates and tax incentives. With COVID-19 exposing the dangers of institutional care and millions of Americans preferring to age at home, the coalition is urging the 117th Congress to prioritize incentives that promote safe, accessible home modifications, boosting public health, protecting seniors, and creating construction jobs nationwide.

Age Safe® America has partnered with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI®) to connect aging homeowners with trusted remodeling professionals. Through the Age Safe® Services Registry, vetted NARI members are now eligible to be referred to seniors and families seeking certified experts in home safety assessments and aging-in-place renovations. This collaboration reinforces the shared commitment to professionalism, safety, and ethical standards in senior home modifications.

On July 4, 2020, Age Safe® America celebrated five years of empowering professionals and families with training, tools, and advocacy to improve senior home safety. As fall prevention and aging-in-place become national priorities, the organization continues to lead with its Senior Home Safety Specialist™ certification, helping reduce risks for older adults and supporting a growing network of trained professionals across the globe.

Fritzi Gros-Daillon, Director of Education at Age Safe® America, was honored as NAHB’s 2019 Educator of the Year at the International Builders Show® in Las Vegas. Recognized for her impactful teaching of CAPS and Universal Design to hundreds of professionals nationwide, Fritzi continues to lead the charge in advancing safe, accessible living through education and advocacy.

Age Safe® America proudly sponsored the 2020 Western Regional OT Spring Symposium (WROTSS) in Las Vegas, supporting the advancement of occupational therapy in aging-in-place and home safety. Representatives from seven state OT associations and over 300 attendees gathered to hear from national and international leaders. Fritzi Gros-Daillon, Director of Education at Age Safe America, connected with professionals championing senior safety across the Western U.S.

At the 2020 Home Care Vision Summit, Age Safe® America’s Fritzi Gros-Daillon presented how the Senior Home Safety Specialist™ program supports both client safety and business growth. Her workshop highlighted how home care companies can use certification to reduce risk, improve caregiver safety, and stand out in a competitive market—while providing essential support to aging clients and their families.
