November 29, 2017 – Age Safe® America, LLC is excited to announce that by Spring 2018, a Canadian version of the Senior Home Safety Specialist™ designation will be available through Age Safe Canada. This initiative will bring the same high standards of training, awareness, and advocacy for home safety and aging-in-place solutions to professionals across Canada.
The Senior Home Safety Specialist™ program has already helped educate professionals in the U.S. on best practices for home safety, fall prevention, and aging-in-place modifications. With the launch in Canada, Age Safe® aims to expand its mission of making homes safer for older adults, families, and caregivers—providing tools, resources, and certification to support the growing need for safety-focused services.
