Kitchens, baths, safety features and reptilian mascots! Although Fritzi will be in attendance all week, I had only Tuesday to join the show this year. I arrived early for our first meeting at Remodelers Central just in time to hear Scott Weigel, VP of Business Development for HomeAdvisor discuss how home improvement professionals can better connect with consumers in their local service area.
In a whirlwind day we caught all the must-see Aging-in-Place & Universal Design products and suppliers. We spent a substantial portion of our time with bathroom suppliers and a few of our favorite booths was MOEN, where they had a full bath safety display, KOHLER and BestBath.
The co-location of the NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) and NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show® (KBIS) was like walking into an entire city. The IBS and KBIS show floors have more than 900,000 net square feet of exhibits, with manufacturers and suppliers of the latest and most in-demand products and services.
